Job Description

As a QA Engineer, your role will involve:

• Developing advanced web applications and services.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
• Designing and executing both manual and automated test cases.
• Driving innovation by rolling out new microservices and improving user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test strategies and plans for web applications and APIs.
• Design and maintain automated and manual test scripts to validate functionality and security.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to integrate testing processes smoothly.
• Conduct hands-on testing, document defects, analyze results, and suggest improvements.
• Continuously improve QA practices by adopting best practices and new technologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of QA engineering experience, focusing on web applications.
• Expertise in manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Chromatic, Playwright, WDIO, Cypress).
• Proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, RESTful APIs).
• Familiarity with test automation practices (e.g., page object models, waiting strategies).
• Business-level proficiency in English.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering teams (QA, development, or project management).
• Proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written) is a plus.
