IT SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR

 

We are on the lookout for an IT Support Administrator for our Client Company

Location-(All Island)

Salary-Negotiable

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support for desktop and laptop computers, peripherals, audio, visual devices mobile devices and network components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT related hardware issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems for computers and IOT mobile devices.
  • Set up and deploy new computer systems and peripherals.
  • Perform routine maintenance on hardware.
  • Assist in the implementation of hardware upgrades.
  • Assist in maintaining network infrastructure, including wired and wireless networks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets & software under asset management system.
  • Adhere to company security policies and procedures. Assist in ensuring compliance with IT standards and regulations
  • Work closely with central IT team members and departments to resolve issues and implement solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with end-users and provide regular updates on the status of issues.
  • Escalation of incidents and requests to Remote support service desk.
  • Supporting the roll-out of infrastructure projects.
  • Monitor IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and systems, for performance.
  • Take proactive actions to identify and address potential issues before they impact users
  • Coordinate with procurement team and Finance team to procure hardware, software and licenses from the point of requesting quotations to delivery.
  • Process monthly IT related invoices.
  • Collaborating with external vendors to ensure that IT needs are met.

 

Qualifications

  • Strong computer hardware knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of basic networking principles and technologies.
  • Knowledge of Office 365 applications.
  • A minimum of a Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience in IT support or a similar role.
