IT Administrator
Role Description: As an IT Administrator, you will be responsible for effectively managing service degradation alerts received through NOC monitoring dashboards. You will analyze, respond, and provide first-level support within the SLA. This role includes installing, supporting, and maintaining software, servers, network devices, and computer/laptop systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure software and hardware.
- Manage networks, servers, and technology tools.
- Set up accounts and laptops/workstations.
- Troubleshoot issues and outages.
- Ensure security through access controls, backups, antivirus, and firewalls.
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
- Develop expertise to train staff in modern technologies.
- Create service tickets and provide first response within the agreed SLA for NOC.
- Offer first-level support for received service failure notifications.
- Triage alerts as per provided instructions to MSP contacts.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a team environment.
- Willingness to work on a 24x7 roster.
- Flexibility with shifts and readiness to work extra hours if needed.
- Must be reachable by mobile/email in case of emergency.
