The Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka, responsible for ensuring a safe, secure, and efficient national civil aviation system, is seeking motivated and qualified personnel to fill the following positions.

Position: Senior Civil Aviation Inspector (Personnel Licensing Examinations and Standards)

Remuneration:

• Salary Scale (MM1-1): Rs. 53,175 - 10 x 1,375 - 15 x 1,910 - 95,575 (as per MS Circular 02/2016)
• Monthly remuneration: approximately Rs. 143,475 (including allowances)
• Special Technical Allowance: approximately Rs. 85,000
• Other Benefits: Health Insurance, Accident Insurance, Death Grant Scheme, Bonus, Leave Encashment, Mobile Bill Reimbursement

Qualifications and Experience

External Candidates
Option 1:

• Bachelor's Degree (minimum 3 years) in Physical Science, Transport, Aerospace, ICT, or Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience in executive capacity in a Government Department/Public Enterprise or reputed Mercantile Establishment in Aviation.

Option 2:

• Intermediate examination of a recognized professional Chartered Institute relevant to the post.
• Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience in executive capacity in relevant fields.

Option 3:

• Certificate of proficiency (Level 7) by a recognized training institute.
• Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience in executive capacity in relevant fields.

Internal Candidates
Option 1:

• Qualifications required by the external candidates.

Option 2:

• Minimum of 6 years as a Civil Aviation Inspector.
• Unblemished track record.
• Completed ICAO-approved training courses (minimum of 4 weeks).
• "Good" or above grading in Annual Performance.

Age Limit:

• 22 to 45 years (upper limit not applicable to certain internal candidates).
