BUSINESS ANALYST

 IMMEDIATE HIRING: BUSINESS ANALYST

Join our client, a leading Banking & Finance company in Sri Lanka, as they seek a dynamic, results-driven individual to be part of their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for the core banking system, including data mapping and migration.
• Review and improve business processes, suggest enhancements, and create process flow diagrams.
• Act as the link between stakeholders, the project team, and vendors.
• Assess the system design against business needs by working with vendors and internal teams.
• Ensure seamless system integration through user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Develop and conduct test cases to verify system functionality, including UAT, track issues, and ensure prompt resolution.
• Keep stakeholders updated on project progress, potential risks, and changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct training needs analysis and collaborate with vendors to create training materials for both customers and internal teams.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or an equivalent field, with relevant work experience.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, including at least 5 years in banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of core banking software, business process management, and project management methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMP, or similar are advantageous.
