We are looking for an Associate - Software Engineer to be a part of the Difference!
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1-2 years of professional experience in PHP development.
- Proficiency in PHP, with a solid understanding of MySQL or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Knowledge of MVC frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter is advantageous.
- Experience in the travel and leisure industry or involvement in related projects is an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices.
- Design and implement database structures, primarily using MySQL, to support application functionality.
- Develop customized solutions tailored to meet the specific requirements of various stakeholders.
- Perform requirements analysis, design, development, and implementation of software solutions.
- Collaborate with teams using agile project management frameworks, ensuring timely and effective results.
- Troubleshoot and fix issues, optimize applications to enhance performance and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to enhance team productivity.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously improving development processes.
- Maintain communication within the team, demonstrating strong collaboration skills and teamwork.
