Assistant Accountant

Candidate Profile:

• Age below 35 years
• Degree in Accounting/Finance or final qualification in CA/CIMA/ACCA
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Import/Trading and at least 2 years in an audit firm
• Experience in import processes and costing is an added advantage
• Knowledge in costing and MIS reporting
• Familiar with stock valuation
• Knowledge of ERP systems/accounting software
• Bank reconciliation skills and experience handling bank correspondence
• Computer literacy in MS Office
• Excellent English skills are essential (knowledge of Sinhala required, Tamil is an advantage)
• Ability to work independently
• Dynamic, focused, and self-motivated personality
• Preferably residing in or near Colombo for easy commute

Salary: Negotiable, based on qualifications and experience
