About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Associate Software Engineer to join our dynamic eCommerce development team. In this role, you will help build and enhance a cutting-edge SaaS platform designed to deliver a seamless and scalable online shopping experience using the latest technologies.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to develop, maintain, and optimize platform features using PHP, Laravel, React, Vue, MySQL, Kafka, and Redis.
  • Design, implement, and maintain AWS-based solutions.
  • Work closely with front-end and back-end teams to ensure smooth eCommerce functionalities and user experiences.
  • Engage in agile processes, including task estimation, sprint planning, and code reviews.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines while maintaining high code quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 1+ year of experience with some or all of the following: PHP, Laravel, React, Vue, MySQL, Redis, and Kafka.
  • Familiarity with AWS services and serverless architectures.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, databases, and APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, agile methodologies, and version control systems like Git.
  • Background in eCommerce platforms or payment solutions is a plus.

Position: Associate Software Engineer – Arpico Insurance

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain software applications according to project requirements.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and team members to transform project specifications into functional software.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to coding standards.
  • Debug and resolve software issues and defects promptly.
  • Keep documentation up-to-date, including technical specifications and user manuals.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
